The DCC (deleted in colon cancer) gene has a brain restricted high expression pattern. It encodes a transmembrane protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily identified as the netrin-1 receptor. It might be a member of the so called "brain-lymphoid" molecules, which control key cell surface events. To test this hypothesis we have assessed the DCC mRNA level in human normal and malignant myeloid and lymphoid cells. A high mRNA content has been observed only in mature B cells at the secreting or presecreting stage. Expression of DCC was also assessed in the anti-CD40 model of immunopoiesis. AbstractThis study analyses the impact of different uncertainties on commodity markets to assess commodity markets' hedging or safe-haven properties. Using time-varying dynamic conditional correlation and wavelet-based Quantile-on-Quantile regression models, our findings show that, both before and during the COVID-19 crisis, soybeans and clean energy stocks offer strong safe-haven opportunities against cryptocurrency price uncertainty and geopolitical risks (GPR). Soybean markets weakly hedge cryptocurrency policy uncertainty, US economic policy uncertainty, and crude oil volatility. This paper addresses the question of the origin of the partial transcription of Gaius’ palimpsest still preserved in the Capitular Library of Verona (BCapVr, Cod. DCCCIX) and allows to solve the pretended «mystery» about its presence in this library. A comparison with the fair copy (Reinschrift) of the transcription belonging to the Berlin State Library – Prussian Cultural Heritage (SBB-PK, Ms. lat. fol. 308, K. 1, Konv. 1) shows that the Cod. DCCCIX of the Capitular Library can not be regarded as a forgotten copy or a gift. Similarly, the idea that the manuscript was the first fair copy of the transcription works is not plausible.
